I have a half brother, who every 3 or so years spends Christmas with my family. When the brothers get together over Christmas, quite a bit of drinking generally happens. So in preparation, I bought him a very nice bottle of brandy for his Christmas present. When he opened my gift, I kept a close eye on him for his reaction....which was like he saw a ghost. Later that night, I was trying to get him to open it so we could start the festivities, but he didn't want to.

Over the next few days, he would disappear during the middle of the day, and wouldn't drink with us. I thought this was pretty unusual, but I didn't press. I found out a few days later that he had made the decision that he was an alcoholic (before Christmas but after the previous one), and was going to AA meetings during the day to get the strength not to drink with his brothers. I just happened to be pushing him to the edge to where he needed to attend meetings in a city (and state) he didn't live in.

You wanna know the strangest thing that happened to me on holiday? My father was a drinker... and a fiend... and one night he goes off-road crazier than usual. Mommy grabs the emergency brake to try and stop the truck; he doesn't like that, not one bit. So, with me watching, he takes her hand off the brake, laughing while he does it. He turns to me and says "why so serious?". Puts the pedal to the metal, "why so serious?". Kicks the truck into third gear, and we hit a furry dressed like a moose. The damage to the truck was pretty serious.

I have really really long hair, while in japan on a train a very old lady came up to me and smiled at me and started to pet my hair....she said something that I was unable to make out (either due to my lack of japanese or her age...no idea which)....but I just smiled back. We got off at the next stop.

Lol now quite exactly the same but that reminds me of Eurotrip with the guy on the train when they go under tunnels. I would of been like bitch get off my hair.
